Andrea Bocelli is the most famous Italian singer in the world.
He has recorded several operas and 16 albums of pop and classical music.
Andrea Bocelli was born in La Sterza, a hamlet of Lajatico, in the province of Pisa.
 Visually impaired since birth due to a congenital glaucoma, at the age of six Andrea entered the college, in Reggio Emilia, to learn reading in Braille. Andrea Bocelli completely lost his sight at the age of twelve, following a ball over his eyes during a soccer game.
Graduated in Law at the University of Pisa and graduated in Opera Singing at the Giacomo Puccini Conservatory of Music in La Spezia.
After working for a year as an assistant in a law firm, Bocelli decided to leave that career to devote himself completely to singing, taking private lessons.
